Late realization is better than no realization at all
I know the place.
I remember the feeling.
I have been there.
Let me explain.
Rock Bottom is when the world is happening to you. When your mind quits before you even start.
When zero effort has been put into your life for as long as you can remember. When everything becomes “I’ll do it tomorrow”.
Rock Bottom is when you don’t even care.
Rock Bottom is when you are so unhealthy that problems snowball faster than they go away. When you are so overweight you can’t even look at yourself anymore.
When you don’t mind other people looking at you. Because that is the only reason they look at you.
Rock Bottom is when you don’t even care.
Rock Bottom is when you can’t provide for yourself.
When you bring no value to others.
Rock Bottom is when you become more of a burden rather than a blessing.
When your debt grows faster than you can manage it.
Rock Bottom is when you don’t even care.
Rock Bottom is when you have nobody in your life you truly matter to.
When your mother has a birthday and you forgot again.
Rock Bottom is when your partner leaves you and you know they were right.
Because if you could, you would have left you too.
Rock Bottom is when you don’t even care.
Rock Bottom is when you say you will do it, but you never do.
When you think you are great, but your results prove you otherwise.
Then, one day, you wake up.
And you realize – this is your life now. And you did it to yourself.
Deep down, you know it is your own fault.
Rock Bottom is your only truth now.
